Day 11:

Breakfast:

Lunch:

Dinner:

THIS close to giving up today, but thanks to Jocelyn, I avoided that bowl of cereal :( So tomorrow night, I’ve been invited to a goodbye dinner - so it looks like I lessened this stupid diet by one more meal! Sucks that it’s also the best meal…. FATE MAN!

Well, my mom comes home today (finally!), so tomorrow should be a breeze. Cooking everything and then cleaning up afterward wasn’t too bad of a challenge. I’ve been socially MIA for the past couple of days… hopefully those who haven’t seen me in awhile can notice the weight I’ve lost.

But as I come to the end, I’m kind of disappointed. I followed the restrictions word for word, and sadly did not shed as much as I wanted to. But than again, my exercise could have been upped a little? On a positive note, the longer it takes to shed the weight, the more unlikely you’ll gain it back right?

Looks like tomorrow will be my last post? I definitely aim to lose another 10 pounds, even during my stay in China. My grandfather lives on the 23rd floor, so I plan on using the stairs at least once a day (which trust me) is a HUGE workout. Now, how do I convince my cousin….

Day 10:

Breakfast:

Lunch:

Dinner:

Looks like we’re (my mom and I) are limiting this diet down to 12 days now. Why? Not because we’re not capable of finishing, but because we have a mini family reunion on Saturday that we totally forgot about. ^_^

Anyways, I figured why I wasn’t losing as much weight as I wanted before. It’s called pre-period effing bloating. Yep… Well, today I picked my lazy ass up and ran another 3 miles on the school track. With my mom in Chicago, I’ve been walking Coco 3x a day for at least 20-30 minutes. Which is good (: Well, my mom comes home tomorrow!

I just started following this new tumblr (before & after), and found this picture pretty inspiring.

Day 9:

Breakfast:

Lunch:

[I forgot to take a picture]

Dinner:

Almost there! Just Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

But I feel like I’ve hit a stalemate with my weight - and it’s very upsetting. Maybe I’m just too stressed over my cravings, that effing cortisol is turning all this food into fat… again!

Sigh, I think I miss people more than I miss food :(

Day 8:

On my own -

Breakfast:

Lunch:

Dinner:

Lately I’ve been google imaging a LOT of my favorite foods to sort of help soothe my cravings. It actually works! (: I also watch the food network, and was fine until they hit the cookies episode… Oh cookies :(

Today, I ran a couple of errands - like applying for VISAs and celebrating my dog’s 5th birthday!

RIGHT?? There’s hope!

Day 7:

Breakfast:

Lunch:

Dinner:

So today, my mom and I got in a little fight - sometimes food helps resolve our conflicts, but this time, there was no food! (You know what I mean). Other than that, I really need to build up the motivation to get up, and go workout. I wish my friends (other than Jocelyn), would call me up and actually plan something with me rather than me initiating it. Having a busy schedule could really help me with this diet :/

But thank you Jocelyn for the nice walk today! (:

Now my mom is off in Chicago, so I’m on my own for the next four days. Let’s see if I can do this.

Would you believe that this is Carrie Underwood?

Sigh, no toast tomorrow :(

Day 6:

Breakfast:

Woke up late again, so almost skipped breakfast completely. But I ended up eating a slice of toast and the boiled eggs. No grapefruit!

Lunch:

Oh, fruit never tasted so good! Especially strawberries and bananas! Chose not to eat the cucumbers though…

Dinner:

STEAK! But with celery and tomatoes?

Today my mom and I went to Marina to buy ingredients for next week. Sucks that she’s leaving tomorrow. Honestly, what am I going to do by myself? >.<

Sigh, JUST ONE MORE WEEK. HALF WAY THERE! COME ON!

Some 40-year old trainer in Korea I think? I don’t know… she has her own Wii game.

Day 5:

By previously looking at today’s menu, I knew Day 5 consisted of the “best” meals. Why? Because there’s toast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Honestly, my slice of whole wheat toast has become my new chocolate chip cookie! :D

Breakfast:

Well, I woke up late today - so I ALMOST decided to opt out breakfast entirely. But I didn’t. I did, however, skip the boiled egg. Just wasn’t feeling it this morning…

Lunch:

Toast!

Dinner:

FISH IS DELICIOUS! (Even without any flavoring) I’m going to miss this white delicacy for the next week :(

Well afterward, my mom and I went to pick up our family friend from the SF Airport, but their flight was delayed. So we chilled nearby right next to an In-N-Out. -__- I asked my mom, if I wasn’t on this diet, would you buy me a cheeseburger right now? And she said “yes”…. FRICKEN MAN. It’s ok, we already decided the foods we’re going to be eating the first day after the completion of this diet.

Mom: “Are we eating fish tonight?”

Me: “Yep”

Mom: “So how about we go out for sushi then!”

Day 5 done!

Inspirational photo:

Hello Hyuna!

Get up and go!

20 minutes with the weighted hula-hoop (I have a bruise on my hip now for some reason…)

30 minutes on the stationary bike

45 minutes of running

Gathering the motivation to start exercising is getting hard :(

Day 4:

Breakfast:

Hmm, what’s new? Ohh, but you can see the hot steam coming from the coffee (:

Lunch:

My toast broke :( After lunch, went to volleyball open gym for four hours… and completely and utterly sucked balls.

Dinner:

Boiled Spinach with no seasoning! Not too bad.
Michelle’s leaving to Orientation tomorrow, so Kristen and I helped her pack after a quick Target run. Buy 4 get 2 free panty sale at Target! ^_^ Sorry, small sales like those can really make my day.

I feel like I had more to say, but I’m pretty tired - and it’s kinda late… for the new me. So onto Day 5! (:

Inspirational Photo:

How about some Hannah Montana?

Oh news! The diet is actually 13 days, not 14. Plus on the last day, my mom and I will be on the road, so it’s going to be difficult driving 6 hours with the smell of boiled eggs. Anyways, I promise to do some good old cardio tomorrow (:
